TransIndus is looking for Southeast Asia Sales Specialists
Due to expansion of our Southeast Asia programme we are looking for exceptional sales consultants to join our expanding team. Ideally you will be an enthusiastic individual who thrives on helping clients explore the destinations you are passionate about.
You will need to have previous sales experience preferably in the UK travel industry, excellent written and spoken communication skills, first-hand experience of travel through Southeast Asia and be motivated by the desire to deliver excellent customer service. A wish to succeed in a competitive sales environment is essential.
The work is demanding but ultimately rewarding and great fun with tremendous opportunities for travel. Depending on experience and expertise your starting basic salary will range from £21,000 to £25,000 per annum plus a performance related commission, disbursed monthly.
Key requirements for the role:
Knowledge/experience of Southeast Asian countries.
Previous sales experience in the travel industry.
Strong communication skills.
An inclination towards customer service & selling.
Strong organisation & time management skills.
Key function of the role:
To discuss holiday requirements and create sympathetic itinerary options for our discerning clients.
Discuss itineraries with a view to achieving a sale and to ensure each client's experience is suited to their unique needs.
Build relationships with clients and take responsibility for nurturing them to ensure repeat custom.
To optimise every sales enquiry by offering upgrades and extensions to drive the best result for both the client and the company.
Liaise with colleagues in the sales, product and marketing departments to remain abreast of developments and changes in your destinations.
Attend exhibitions and client events to project the best of your destination.
Support the product & marketing teams and help develop brochures and updates for the website.
Travel on recce's, familiarisation trips and conferences to stay up to date with product developments in your region and to remain a true destination specialist with knowledge of the most recent changes.
Demonstrate a total commitment to customer service to ensure all clients return home from each journey having had a trip of a lifetime.
