Hiroshima (2-3 days)

Day 13 Hiroshima Travel by bullet train from Mount Kyo (via Osaka) to Hiroshima. Free at leisure to explore the Peace Park and Museum and stay one night (can be extended to two, time permitting).

Day 14 Tokyo With a private guide travel by train and boat to the nearby island of Miyajima. Return by bullet train to Tokyo for an overnight stay.

Day 15 Return Fly to UK.

Ishigaki Island (5 days)

Days 14 to 17 Ishigaki Fly from Osaka to Ishigaki and transfer to a beach resort for 4 nights. There are several great choices for accommodation. Relax on the beach or take a boat to neighbouring islands of Taketomi and Iriomote.

Day 18  Tokyo Fly to Tokyo for a final night.
