Meal Plan:	Bed & breakfast
Season:	Traditionally November to mid-March, to avoid the intolerable heat of summer. If visiting southern Oman the rainy season, or khareef, lasts from mid-June to late August
Clothes:	Loose-fitting, modest clothing is preferred over anything that exposes too much skin; in addition, when out in public women should cover up swimwear with T-shirts and shorts. Packing warmer layers for evenings is useful
