Sri Lanka or Ceylon is an enchanting tropical island in the Indian Ocean with golden, sandy beaches, exotic wildlife, rolling hills, tea plantations, colonial towns and friendly people. The traditional greeting, Ayu Bowan - "wishing you a long life" - is testament to this.
