The east coast is best from May to September, when many of the beaches along the west and south coasts are experiencing the monsoon.

Even in the monsoon months it is possible to travel around for it does not rain all the time. The temperatures are high throughout, staying close to an average of 27 degrees Celsius (or 80 degrees Fahrenheit).
