Cambodia: Getting Around

Air Travel

There are several flights a day between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Flights are short, convenient and inexpensive.

Train Travel

Cambodia has a limited rail network, used extensively by locals. This is however, not a recommended way to travel - trains are slow, not very comfortable and long delays are very common.

Road Travel

Roads between the principal towns are generally safe and in good condition. Other roads are somewhat less well maintained.

Boat Travel

A memorable journey can be taken on board the Pandaw cruise that plies the Mekong from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), in Vietnam.
