The Incredible India lecture series at London's Nehru Centre is brought to
you jointly by The High Commission of India, The India Tourist Office and
TransIndus. The lectures aim to inform, assist and encourage
travellers planning a visit to India while highlighting the rich diversity of the region and
addressing issues of conservation.
Vivek Angra, Director, Government of India Tourist Office inaugurated the lecture series on 16 June 2004.
It continues with expert lecturers from various fields of history, art, musicology, archaeology, theatre,
conservation and more - selected for their scholarship, experience and a passion for their subject,
the speakers explore India's many possibilities for travel.
