International flights are on indirect services. Flight time is approximately 15 hours.
Meal Plan: Half board except in Bejing and first night in Lhasa.
Season: Late April to mid September. Travel in winter is not possible due to frequent landslides, freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall.
Clothes: Cottons are usually fine for much of spring and autumn in Lhasa. Heavy wollens and ample rain gear is required for most of the overland journey. A sun hat for protection is a must.
