Visit Jerash, a wonderful preserved Roman city, as well as the nearby Umm Qais for views over the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan Valley.

Drive to Petra via Madaba, Mount Nebo and the imposing Karak castle and stay at the Beit Zaman Hotel, a standard grade traditional style property for three nights.

Explore the ancient city of Petra, approaching on horseback through the awesome As-Siq canyon. Visit the Pharaoh's Castle, the Triumphal arch, the Amphitheatre and the Monastery.

Take a trip to Little Petra.

Travel by car to Wadi Rum and take a 4x4 tour of this visually stunning area. Drive north to the Dead Sea and check in to the deluxe Marriot Resort and Spa for two nights.
