Travel Arrangements

You travel by yourself on a departure date of your choice.

International flights are direct on British Airways. Flight time is approximately 12 hours.

Travel is by plane, train and private car. An English-speaking guide is on hand at every city and for all scheduled sightseeing.

Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast, Peking duck dinner in Beijing, dumpling banquet dinner in Xian and temple lunch in Chengdu.
Season: Traditionally March-May and September-November.
Clothes: Light cottons are usually fine for much of spring and autumn. However it would be advisable to include some warm clothing if travelling from mid October onwards and also in much of March.
