On day 15 fly from Lucknow to Kathmandu for three nights at the Yak & Yeti or Soaltee Hotel (you have the option of upgrading to a luxury boutique property, Dwarikas, made in traditional style); see the city sights and enjoy an excursion to Bhaktapur; option of a mountain flight over Mt Everest. Fly back to Delhi on day 18 and take an early morning flight back to London on day 19.

On day 15 board an overnight train from Lucknow to Lal Kuan – traveling in AC 2-tier sleeper. Arrive Lal Kuan next morning and transfer by car to Kalmatia Sangam for 3 nights. Enjoy spectacular mountain scenery with the option of day walks. On day 19 take a day train back to Delhi. Return to London by an early morning flight on day 20.
