Venture into some of the world's oldest rainforests, teeming with a wild array of exotic flora and fauna.
The tour begins in Kuching, the city of the White Rajas, before journeying to the beautiful surroundings of Batang Ai and an Iban longhouse. It continues on to Sepilok orang-utan centre where this fascinating creature can be seen up close. After exploring the Kinabatangan River, the itinerary ends in Kota Kinabalu, one of the most unique and biologically diverse areas in the world.
You travel by yourself on a departure date of your choice.
Internal travel is by van, plane and boat.
International flights are direct on Malaysian Airlines to Kuala Lumpur with a flight time of about 12 - 13 hours, then a short connecting flight.
Meal Plan: Bed & breakfast; lunch on days 3 to 9; all meals in Sukau.
Season: April to October. November to February can have plenty of rainfall.
Clothes: Light cottons all year.
