Royal Rajputana - Tour Overview

Covering most of Rajasthan's celebrated sites, this tour showcases the colour and grandeur of this stately desert land. The great fortress cities of Jaisalmer, Nagaur and Jodhpur; the ornate temple complex of Ranakpur, the palaces of Jaipur, the tranquil lakes of Udaipur - the tour is rich in cultural and historical attractions.

We end with two days at a luxury resort in the village of Delwara, converted tastefully from a royal fortress. A jeep safari of tribal villages, a camel ride on the sand dunes, a meal in a mango orchard, a boat ride on Lake Pichola as the lake shimmers with evening lights, add to the romance. In Rohet there is the option of cantering in the wilderness on a well bred Marwari horse.
