This grand trip around Taiwan showcases the best the island has to offer, with an incredible range of scenic and cultural attractions. Take in the frenetic city of Taipei, explore the spectacular coastlines with their weird and wonderful rock formations, and marvel at the Taroko Gorge before relaxing on the beach at Kenting. Head back inland through stunning mountain scenery, culminating at the beautiful Sun Moon Lake.
You travel by yourself on a departure date of your choice.
International flights are on an in-direct scheduled flight via Bangkok or Hong Kong. Flight time is approximately 15-17 hours including transit. Internal travel is by private car.
Meal Plan: Bed & breakfast; lunch every day except days 1, 8 & 12; dinner on days 10 & 14.
Season: Traditionally April and November, though spring and autumn are good in general.
Clothes: Comfortable, light layers are fine for much of the country in the ideal months, though you should take some warmer items for time in the mountains.
