Born and raised in Aizawl, capital of Mizoram state in northeast India, Felicia came to London to study for an MBA in marketing and liked it so much she decided to put down roots. She’s an avid traveller, and has seen most of Europe, and some of the loveliest parts of Thailand and Russia.
Racha Yai, Thailand. “This pair of idyllic islands lies 12 nautical miles southeast of Phukhet, on Thailand’s Andaman Coast. They are known among water sports enthusiasts for their crystal clear waters, which have made them a popular diving and snorkelling destination. I couldn’t have picked a better place for my first sub-aqua experience. The beaches were beautiful and there are some gorgeous places to stay.”
Nanital, India. “This pretty hill station in the Himalayan foothills northeast of Delhi is known as the ‘Switzerland of India’ because of its spectacular mountain scenery. Situated at 2,084 metres (6,837ft) above sea level, it spills down steep slopes around a blue lake which you can go rowing on. From various viewpoints around the town, marvellous panoramic vistas extend to the snow peaks along the Tibetan border. Relatively few foreigners visitors travel here, but I love the mild weather and special atmosphere of the place.”
