Born in Scotland, Sibi moved to Yorkshire at an early age, from where her connection with India began during annual family visits to Punjab. As she grew older, so did her curiosity for travel outside of India, and a trip to Morocco ignited Sibi’s passion for not only experiencing different cultures but focusing on a career within travel. Upon moving to London three years ago, she transitioned from a sales specialist to a marketing role and now looks after our trusted journalists, special client events and creating marketing campaigns, amongst much more.
“Singapore was an unexpected gem on a recent trip to Southeast Asia, the blend of cultures within a small city was fascinating to witness and wander through. With such a variety of communities settled here, unsurprisingly, the cuisine is a highlight of a visit to Singapore. My personal favourite was the local restaurants around Arab & Bussorah Street, most notably those serving authentic Lebanese dishes.”
Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi. “Instant relaxation comes over you upon entering the grand lobby at the Shangri-La Qaryat al Beri, with an aura of incense and the harmonious sound of traditional music. The impressive infinity pool overlooking the Sheikh Zayed Mosque - standing gracefully on the opposite side of the Khor Al Maqta waterway – is the perfect place to rest for a few days either before or after your trip further east.”
“A recent purchase of an inflatable footrest has become one of my essential items when packing for a trip. Whilst I’d bought it with long haul international flights in mind, it has also brought added comfort to some of the longer road journeys taken when away.”
