When you travel with TransIndus
Your holiday is 100% Financially Protected
We hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL No. 3429). All holidays that include flights are protected under the ATOL scheme.
As soon as you book a tour with us, we’ll issue you with an ATOL Certificate, which we always advise clients to read carefully and keep somewhere safe.
ABTA Membership & Bond
If we haven’t booked flights as part of your holiday, you will still be fully protected thanks to our membership of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA).
Both ATOL and ABTA schemes ensure that your money will be refunded if you have to cancel your holiday prior to departure. In the unlikely that we become insolvent while you are abroad, our ATOL and ABTA membership will also cover repatriation to your original point of departure.
TransIndus is a proud partner of the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) – an umbrella organisation that represents 122 of Britain's best independent travel companies.
Our AITO membership demonstrates we provide personalised advice, based on first-hand experience of our destinations, and to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. We achieve this by concentrating on three main pillars: choice, quality and service – as enshrined in the AITO Quality Charter.
TransIndus is financially assessed and bound by AITO’s own code of business practice, which demands clear and accurate descriptions of holidays, use of customer feedback questionnaires for monitoring standards and the promotion of sustainable tourism.
AITO sets criteria regarding ownership, finance and quality which must be satisfied before new companies are admitted to membership. All members are required to adhere to a Code of Business Practice, which encourages high operational standards and conduct.
As an AITO member, TransIndus is required to arrange financial protection for all holidays and other arrangements (including accommodation only) booked by customers. This financial protection applies to customers who are resident in the UK at the time of booking and to most overseas customers who have booked directly with us. In doing so, we must comply with UK government regulations. We are required to submit details of our financial protection arrangements to AITO on a regular basis.
ACCURATE BROCHURES AND WEB SITES
TransIndus do their utmost to ensure that all our brochures and other publications, print or electronic, clearly and accurately describe the holidays and services offered.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENTS
TransIndus are committed to high standards of service and believe in regular and thorough training of employees. We continually seek to review and improve our holidays, listening to our customers and always welcoming suggestions for improving standards.
AITO endeavours to monitor quality standards regularly and we encourage customers to leave feedback on www.aito.com; the results of which are scrutinised by the Association.
SUSTAINABLE TOURISM – Project PROTECT
As an AITO member, we acknowledge the importance of AITO’s Sustainable Tourism ethos, which recognises the social, economic and environmental responsibilities of tour operating.
TransIndus endeavour to deal swiftly and fairly with any issues our customers may raise. In the unlikely event that a dispute between TransIndus and a customer cannot be settled amicably, either party can call on a low cost arbitration service to bring the matter to a speedy and acceptable conclusion.
