This devastatingly stylish boutique bolthole melds contemporary designer chic with classical Khmer elegance, and is one of our favourite hotels in Siem Reap. All of its rooms are lovely, but we recommend upgrading to one of the Bungalow Suites – easily the most romantic spaces in town. Each comes with its own walled garden where you can power-shower al fresco under a palm tree; the free-standing tubs are solid marble and there’s even a private steam room.
We also love the swimming pool, surrounded by padded loungers through the day, and exotically lit in the evenings. While this property offers a heavenly retreat for couples, its tranquil atmosphere makes it less than ideal for young families.
