Set in the foreground of picturesque jungle clad mountains, the Berjaya Tioman is the largest property on the island. It has 268 simple Malay style chalets all fitted with wooden flooring and furnishings, air conditioning and private balconies with either garden or sea views. It lies on 200 acres of land on a long sandy white beach on the west coast of the pristine island, complete with its own 18 hole golf course. It’s also well situated to explore the islands stunning natural landscape.
The resort has two excellent restaurants - the all-day dining Sri Nelayan serves up Malay and international cuisine, whilst the Coriander Seeds Restaurant offers Thai and Indian fare. The two pools are family friendly and there is an excellent on site dive school, so it’s easy to arrange snorkeling and dive trips for a reasonable price!
