Myanmar, Myanmar (Burma)

Belmond Road to Mandalay began life on the Rhine before being transported, renovated and relaunched into a grand cruiser in 1996, and becoming Myanmar’s first cruiser of its kind. Over 20 years of experience has allowed Belmond to developed strong ties with the local communities and you can assure you will be well looked after.

The elegance of the ship becomes apparent as soon as you step onboard, designed to mirror the peace and tranquillity of its surroundings. The top deck is the perfect place to relax and watch life go by, either soaking up some sun by the pool or in the cool of the canopy. All 43 cabins are light and spacious with big outward-facing windows. Dining onboard promises to be a highlight, cosy dinners are served up below deck and alfresco cocktails and barbeques can be enjoyed on deck. Perhaps end the night with a nightcap in the Piano Bar.

Belmond Road to Mandalay offers a number of itineraries, ranging from one to seven nights, with a varied and interesting programme of excursions. In the evenings, you will be treated to a variety of cultural performances and expert lectures.
