Set deep in the heart of the Cambodian rainforest, in a 400-hectare private nature sanctuary, Shinta Mani Wild is part of the Shinta Mani Bensley Collection, designed by renowned designer Bill Bensley. The idea was a high yield low impact camp, with a mission to find a sustainable way to support the policing of the forest against logging and poaching. What he has created is a luxury tented camp, with world-class design, all-inclusive hospitality, and with minimal impact on the surrounding forest where your stay makes a real difference in protecting unique and endangered species – Bensley’s ideal Cambodian experience. Guests can even zip line in to the camp!
The 15 uniquely designed private tents offer the ultimate in comfort and luxury, with breath-taking views over the river, large terraces to enjoy the views from and outdoor tubs to relax in after a long day of exploring. Settle into the vintage French chairs, at The Landing Zone Bar, overlooking the Big Raging Sister Waterfall, and dine at The Headquarters, where every meal will introduce you to the freshest seasonal ingredients that Cambodia has to offer, many foraged from the surrounding forest.
There is a minimum three night stay at Shinta Mani Wild, but with all that is on offer, you could easily stay a lot longer. Exploring the backwaters on a custom built expedition boat or kayak, mountain biking, waterfall picnics, hiking, fishing and birdwatching are just some of the activities available. Unlimited spa treatments are also included as part of the Shinta Mani Wild package, and the spa, Khmer Tonics, is nestled amid giant natural rocks perched in the forest canopy. Indulge in a river-stone foot massage while soaking in a waterfall pool or have therapists visit your tent for a treatment on your balcony with the river rushing below.
