Ideally located on a leafy street in the centre of Siem Reap, Viroth’s Hotel is a peaceful haven in the vibrant Wat Bo area, just moments away from the old market and shopping and entertainment districts. The décor is 50’s-inspired with chic vintage furniture and dashes of blues and yellows, giving it a trendy retro feel, of course combined with a few local artefacts to remind you that you are most definitely in Cambodia. The theme continues in the 35 spacious rooms, with their minimalist design, wooden furnishings and polished tiled floors, all with a private terrace.

The 20-metre long swimming pool sits at the heart of the leafy central courtyard, with poolside dining and bar. The restaurant continues inside and sits in an elegant enclosed glass space, serving delicious local Khmer cuisine as well as some continental favourites. Alternatively, we would highly recommend Viroth’s restaurant, just a few hundred metres from the hotel, widely known in Siem Reap to serve some of the best Khmer food in town.
