You can admire the honey-toned bastions and exotic temple towers while swimming in the crisp desert sunshine. The rooms, ranged in low-rise blocks around plant-filled courtyards, are a pleasing fusion of haveli style and modern convenience.

Both the external surfaces and interior décor have plenty of traditional character without being gaudy. The Rajasthani specialities served in the restaurant also get rave reviews from guests.
