The Jahan is Heritage Line’s most romantic cruise liner. Named after the Indian emperor Shah Jahan, who ruled the Mughal Empire from 1628 to 1658. A great patron of architecture and the arts, this cultured monarch is a fitting namesake for The Jahan, which evokes the opulent vessels of British India. No expense has been spared in the interior or exterior decorations, which showcase the talents of local woodworkers, weavers, and artists.

There are 26 beautifully designed cabins, each with its private balcony and with three decks, The Jahan offers plenty of space and options of where to while away the hours. Soak up some sun on the pool deck and enjoy a soak in the jacuzzi, savor afternoon tea on the terrace or relax in the observatory. With its wide cosy styled diwans and panoramic windows, it is the ideal place to “observe” life on the Mekong. The East India Club is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink as the sun sets and meals are served in the elegant Viceroy Dining Hall, offering al-fresco dining. The Jahan even has a gym for those inclined, with a steam bath and a luxurious Apsara spa.
