We’re delighted to have teamed up with partner company, ‘Sail Lanka’, to offer delightful sunset cruises out of the south coast on one of their beautiful, state-of-the-art catamarans.

Departures are from Mirissa harbour at 2.30pm daily. After a ‘welcome aboard’ briefing, you’ll head out to sea in search of dolphins and whales – including giant blue whales – which guests can observe from the bow or elevated observation deck. The joy of this cruise is that it enables you keep well away from the fleet of other whale spotting vessels in the area and enjoy a more exclusive experience, with only a handful of fellow passengers.

The trip includes complementary snacks and watersports facilities (we thoroughly enjoyed our paddle board session!). It concludes around sunset time, with a wonderful view of the darkening tropical sky from the water.
