This luxurious tent camp run by the Omani government is the only accommodation actually inside the Ras Al Jiz Turtle Reserve, which allows you to be in situ at dawn, when much of the action takes place on the beach below. Nestled out of the wind in a sheltered hollow just a stroll from the main nesting site are a dozen Australian-made eco tents, complete with en-suite bathrooms and little galvanized verandahs. The suave décor and overall high level of comfort for such a remote spot come as a bit of a surprise, but a welcome one! In short: the perfect base the Oman’s signature wildlife experience.
