Ylang, the latest member of Heritage Line’s collection in Lan Ha Bay, took its maiden voyage on 17^th August 2019. Operating a two-night itinerary, on the serene waters of Lan Ha Bay, a relatively unknown extension of the famous Halong Bay, allows for more time to explore this idyllic part of the Gulf of Tonkin.

The design is a blend of Vietnamese and French-colonial, and local artisans have contributed to the decor with hand-crafted paintings and artwork. With only ten spacious suites, all with floor-to-ceiling panoramic doors opening onto a private balcony, you will feel like you’ve got Lan Ha Bay all to yourself. The terrace deck is the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the views, soak up some sun from one of the comfortable sunbeds before a refreshing dip in the pool. The restaurant, on the terrace deck, serves up fresh Vietnamese cuisine, using local ingredients, and the bar is surrounded 180 degrees by glass, ensuring you never miss a thing. Described as ‘a floating wellness and lifestyle oasis’, what makes Ylang truly unique, is her expansive spa with an extensive selection of treatments, and a wellness studio.

As well as enjoying the facilities on-board, your Ylang itinerary offers an array of activities to explore this wonderful natural environment. Explore a local village by bicycle, visit a remote fishing village, enjoy a leisurely hike in Cat Ba’s National Park, perhaps take a kayak out to experience the landscape from a different perspective or swim off a quiet beach.
