Fly from the UK to Bangkok.

Arrive in Bangkok. Transfer to Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside or similar hotel. At leisure to acclimatise.

Half day tour. With your guide, travel on various forms of transport, including river-ferry, tuk-tuk, and the Skytrain. Visit the magnificent Grand Palace and serene Wat Pho. Relax in the afternoon.

Half day tour. With your guide, board a traditional longtail boat and explore the khongs, Bangkok's backwaters. Pass traditional stilted houses, and lush banana plantations. The afternoon is at leisure.

Khao Sok National Park
Transfer to the airport. Fly south to Surat Thani and travel off the island onto the lush Khao Sok National Park, and Anurak Lodge, a comfortable community tented camp. Spend the day visiting the elephant camp where you are able to get close to the elephants, interacting with them and feeding them. After a delicious lunch, spend some time canoeing along the Sok river in the afternoon, before returning to the camp. Dinner is served in the evening before retiring to your luxury tent.

Khao Sok National Park
After breakfast, explore a lake close to the jungle by local boat. The scenery is spectacular, and there is a chance to swim. Packed lunch is provided. Later in the afternoon return to the camp for dinner and some relaxation time.

Khao Sok National Park, Khao Lak
After breakfast, head into the rainforest for some jungle trekking with your guide. Weather permitting, lunch will be served in the rainforest. Afterwards return to the camp around 2pm to depart for your next destination. You will be driven onto the beautiful coastline of Khao Lak. Stay at Centara Seaview Resort or similar.
