We have launched a Live Covid-19 Tracker to show you where the Coronavirus cases are in India and how many cases are in each of India's states.

With a population of over 1.3 billion people, India is one of the most heavily populated countries in the world. The city of Mumbai alone has a population of 20 million, over three times the size of London. As of early July, cases of coronavirus are densely clustered around India's major cities - Mumbai and Delhi the worst affected.

Below are a number of graphs and tables which illustrate the spread of cases and how they compare to the UK. All data is updated daily.
